We have started the year with a bang! With a new year comes the opportunity to re-evaluate our business and improve operations to better serve our clients.
Over the past few weeks we have been reviewing and testing technology that would help our firm run more efficiently as well as increase client satisfaction. To that effect, we have undertaken several new initiatives that we are excited to unveil to you!
New NHWM Website
First you’ll notice that we have built a new website from the ground up. We’ve tried to provide as much information as possible about our firm and how we help people, while still keeping it simple and to the point. If you’re reading this, that means that you have successfully clicked through and are visiting our website now. Please browse around and let us know what you think.
New Online Scheduling Tool
We have also implemented a new scheduling tool that links directly to our company calendar. This will allow our current clients and other interested parties to schedule a quick phone call or in-person meeting at their convenience without the constant back-and-forth of emails and phone messages.
Of course you can still call us at anytime, but this allows you and I to put aside a set amount of time to focus on your questions without interruptions or time constraints.
New Risk Alignment Platform
Assessing a person’s risk tolerance is critical for financial planning purposes. It gives us the ability to provide expectations as to how your account balances will fluctuate with the markets over time. This is important because it allows you to provide input as to what you are willing, and not willing, to risk as you progress toward your goals.
Many advisors skip this step altogether and simply construct a portfolio for you aimed at “beating the market”. If this is how your financial professional advises you, you might want to get a second opinion. At other times, a client’s risk tolerance could be assessed through discussions about previous experiences or risk questionnaires.
We were searching for a better way……and we found it!
With our new technology partner Riskalyze, we can identify your risk tolerance with a “Risk Number”, a number between 1 and 99 that pinpoints your exact comfort zone for downside risk and potential upside gain. Once this is established, we can then construct an investment portfolio to match your Risk Number and chart a clearly defined path to your financial goals.
You can see how your investments stack-up to your risk number by entering your portfolio and information here: (Riskalyze link)
We spend a great deal of time analyzing new products that may benefit our clients and we are constantly refining our processes, so please take advantage of these new tools and let us know what you think.
